We are quickly moving towards a cashless society. The recent demonetisation policy by the Modi government and the subsequent shortage of cash in ATMs and banks has further forced people to rely more and more on net banking for online payment of services.  But with rapidly increasing online customers and weak customer protection laws, we can't ever be sure that our money will remain safe and there would be a compensation in case of a technical glitch from the e-commerce serivce providers side during online transactions.
